Patty M. Bledsoe Palacios, 52, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 after a lengthy illness.
Patty was born November 10, 1958 in Harlingen, Texas to Daniel and Marian Bledsoe. She attended schools in Harlingen and graduated from Harlingen High School in 1976. She worked at the General Dynamics plant in Harlingen for several years before moving to Port Isabel in 1997. Patty then worked for the City of Port Isabel in the accounting department and then as a clerk with the City of South Padre Island for several years. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Harlingen.
Patty is survived by her husband, George Palacios; daughter, Danielle Palacios; step-children, Carrie, Wesley, and Ross Palacios; sisters, Tommie Robinson (Lee) and Janet Reichel; and step-grandchildren, Fallon and Kegon Palacios. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Patty, will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 10:00 AM, Monday, August 8, 2011.
