Patsy Lou Moore, 64, passed away on March 20, 2015. Patsy was born April 28, 1950 in Edinburg, Texas to Charles Fankhauser and Kathryn Henderson Fankhauser. She was a high school graduate and received a BA in English from the University of Texas at Brownsville. Patsy married Gary Lee Moore on October 24, 1970. She was employed as a teacher at Dr. Cash Elementary from 1989 to 2015 and was named Teacher of the Year by SBCISD for the school year 2006-2007. Patsy was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in San Benito, TX. Her life revolved around her children, her students and her husband Gary, the love of her life.
Pasty is survived by her husband, Gary Moore; daughters, Melanie Moore-Stanford, Angela Moore; son Keith Moore; grandchildren Wyatt, Nathan, Austin and Ava; her siblings Charlsie (Henry) Haynes, Judy (Lee) Latham, Mary (Walter) Hill, Charles Fankhauser; brothers-in-law Frank (Jeanette) Moore, Virgil (Lousie) Moore, and Clifford (Cindy) Moore.
She was preceded in death by her mother Kathryn Franhauser and her father Charles Fankhauser, Sr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held March 25, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Mont Meta Memorial Park with Pastor Judy Panoska officiating.
