Pamala Ray Lytal, a long-time resident of Rowlett and Harlingen, Texas died following a long battle with cancer on Wednesday the 29th of April at her house in Rowlett surrounded by her family.
She was born in San Antonio on August 13, 1944 to Thomas Ray Smith and Mary Sue Adams. She attended school in Harlingen and spent most of her working life as a bookkeeper.
Pam loved to socialize with friends, beach and travel. She adored her dear friends Shirley and Judy. Moreover, she was a very proud wife, mom and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She never missed a Christmas with her family or an important life event of her children or grandchildren. She never hesitated to travel many miles to be there.
Pam is survived by her husband of thirty years, Robert; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Timothy Bothwell; her son, Troy; step-daughter and her husband Beverly and Eddie White; grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, Natalie, Brandon, Garrett and Corry; and step-grandchildren, Ashley, Christian and Dane.
She was preceded in death by Buddy Wayne Tanner, her husband of many years, whom she loved very much and died to soon.
A graveside service will be held at Harlingen-Combes Cemetery on Monday, the 3rd of April at 10:00 AM.
