Pablo Rojas, Jr.

On June 4, 2021, Pablo Rojas, Jr., 39, was welcomed in his Savior’s Kingdom.  Pablo was an awesome, loving husband, daddy, brother, and son.  We thank God for blessing us by having Pablo in our lives. He was a man of great faith.  He never lost his love and faith during his trials and tribulations.  Pablo stood firm in his faith and was a man of God.

Pablo was born to Pablo Rojas, Sr. and the late Herlinda Garcia Rojas on April 26, 1982 in Houston, Texas. He was a graduate of South Texas ISD Science Academy.  After completing high school, Pablo received a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas – Pan American and went on to become a secondary History teacher with the Donna Consolidated Independent School District. In addition to his teaching duties, Pablo was a  Fellowship of Christian Athletes faculty sponsor.

Pablo was a committed Christian and was a member and deacon of Baptist Temple in San Benito.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and he loved history and archeology.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Herlinda G. Rojas; paternal grandmother, Antonia Garcia Rojas; maternal grandparents, Rosendo and Elena Garcia; and aunt, Elizabeth Garcia.

Left to treasure Pablo’s memory are his wife, Melissa Mejorado Rojas; children, Paul Michael Rojas and Lovely Linda Rojas; father, Pablo Rojas, Sr.; brother, David Eli Rojas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jesus Mejorado and Maria Mejorado; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins.

The Rojas family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.  A service to celebrate Pablo’s life will begin at 7 o’clock on Monday evening.  Graveside service and interment will take place Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are David Eli Rojas, Josue E. Rojas, Adrian Mejorado, Johnny Flores, Daniel Garcia, and Daniel Aguilar. Honorary pallbearers are Cristobal Rojas, Sr., Cristobal Rojas, Jr., Solomon Rojas, Joe Seth Ramirez Perez, and Marcos Montalvo.
