Harlingen, TX- Pablo G. “La Cobra” Pena, 69, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
He is preceded in death by his children, Raymond Pena and Ida P. Gonzalez; his grandson, Jesus Pena; his parents, Ernesto and Matilde Pena; and his sisters, Juanita Casillas and Hilda Cantu.
Pablo is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Oralia Pena; his children, Isabel (Alex) Zepeda, Pablo (JoAnna) Pena, Jr., Juan D. Pena, Irene M. (Keith) Cooper; his 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild and his siblings, Baltazar (Elisa) Pena, Angelita Quesada, Juan E. Pena, and Carlos (Rosa) Pena, Sr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Enrique Gonzalez, Alexander Zepeda, Sr., Keith Cooper, Jr., Pablo Pena III, Antonio Pena, and Manuel R. Pena; honorary pallbearers will be Alexander Zepeda, Jr., Jonathan Pena, and Sebastian Pena.
