El Ranchito, TX: Pablo C. Hernandez, 43, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX.
He was a parishioner of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and was employed with Esparza Farm and Produce for over 25 years as a supervisor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his father, Adan Carlos Hernandez.
Pablo is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Carmela Hernandez; his daughters, Cassandra Casas and Christy Hernandez; his son, Pablo Hernandez, Jr.; his mother, Palmira Hernandez; his brothers and sisters, Ernesto (Lorena) Hernandez, Esther (Blaz) Martinez, Adan (Rosa) Hernandez, Armando Hernandez, Palmira (Javier) Guzman, Pedro Hernandez, Maria L. (Ernesto) Zapata, Rey (Veronica) Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Gregorio (Ana) Hernandez, and Marta (Orlando) Cantu; along with his mother-in-law, Celsa Guerrero; and father-in-law, Apolinar Olvera; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Deacon Gilberto Perez officiating. Interment will follow at Esparza Cemetery in El Ranchito.
Pallbearers will be Pedro Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Kenny Sanchez, Ismael De La Garza, Jose Romeo Esparza III, and Orlando Cantu; honorary pallbearers will be Rey Hernandez and Pablo Hernandez, Jr.
