Oralia Torres, 73, peacefully passed from this life on April 20, 2021. She was born to the late Leandro Alfaro and Manuela Ordoñez Alfaro on November 26, 1946 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México.
Oralia was of the Christian faith and a devoted church member.
Left to treasure Oralia’s memory are her sisters, Margarita Alfaro, Lucinda Ochoa, Sylvia Alfaro, Juanita Cuevas; brothers, Narciso Alfaro, Alejandro Alfaro, Cecilio Alfaro, and Luis Alfaro; several nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Micaela Chapa and Elida Gonzalez.
The Torres family is thankful to God for the hospice staff and Dr. Lopez.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A prayer service will begin at 7 o’clock on Thursday evening. (Click the link below to view a live-stream of the prayer service.) A funeral service will take place on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Casa Del Refugio, 543 W. Commerce St. in San Benito. Following the funeral service, Oralia will be laid to rest at San Benito Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jay Gonzalez, Jaime Gonzalez, Eric Gonzalez, Shelly Marie Ortega, Rafael Treviño, and Samuel Ochoa.
