Olga V. Lara, 60, of San Benito, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
Ms. Lara is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Lara, her father, Francisco Villarreal, and her brother Blain Villarreal.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia Villarreal, sons, Jacob (Liz) Villarreal, Joshua (Becky) Lara and Joseph Lara. Olga is also survived by her sisters, Esmeralda (Joe) Garza, Edna (Ricky) Contreras, her brother, Frank (Nora Maydon) Villarreal and grandchildren, Jaiden Villarreal, Britny Villarreal, Hallie Lara and Marlene Lara and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Atrium, Dr. Sanusi, Dr. Castillo, Palliative Care & Staff, Gentiva Hospice and the 4th floor nursing staff at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of San Benito Funeral Home at 1400 W. Business U.S. 77, San Benito, Texas 78586, 956-361-9192.
