Ofelia Gonzales Flores, 82, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas after battling dementia.
Ofelia was born on August 24, 1934 in San Benito, Texas to Pedro Gonzales and Maria De Los Angeles the late Marroquin Gonzales.
She is survived by her children Norma Flores, Jaime Flores, Bobby Flores (Anne), Velma Erkin (James), Noe Flores (Shannon); grandchildren Angelica Conde (Jamaul), Lori Booker (Brandon), Michael Amaro, Tracy Wier (Warren), Kyle Williams, Alicia Flores, Wyatt Flores, and Reagan Flores; great grandchildren Jordan Woodard, Adrian Cozart, Jorge Hernandez, Alliana Hernandez and Azariah Rhodes.
Ofelia was preceded in death by her husband Roberto R. Flores and by great grandson Jakari Adkinson.
Visitation hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 10, 2016 at San Benito Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Roberto Flores, Jr, Noe Flores, Jaime Flores, Ricardo Gonzales, Danny Gonzales, Gabbie Gonzales, Brandon Booker, Gonzalo Gonzales, and James Erkin.
Honorary pallbearers are grandson, Mike, Kyle, Wyatt, Reagan and great grandsons, Adrian, Jordan and Jorge.
