SAN BENITO, TX. – Norma R. Gutierrez, born on January 23, 1959, died on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Solara Hospital of Harlingen. She was 56.
Her father, Pedro Zamora-Rivera, and brother, Thomas Rivera, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Robert Gutierrez; daughter-in-law, Maria Jose Villavicencio; mother, Magdalena Rivera; and siblings Juan Rivera, Olga Folsom, Edward Rivera, Richard Rivera, and Belinda Rivera.
Visiting hours are tomorrow, Monday, May 25, 2015, beginning at one o’clock in the afternoon and concluding at nine o’clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o’clock in the evening within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at ten o’clock in the morning, in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Combes Street, San Benito, Texas 78586. Committal services will then follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
In lieu of floral arrangements and plants, the family requests any donations be sent to the National Kidney Foundation in memory of Norma.
