Natividad R. Sierra

Natividad R. Sierra, 96, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in Harlingen, Texas.

She was born on December 25, 1927 in San Benito to Silvestre Romero and Genoveva Ortiz Romero. Natividad grew up in San Benito before moving with her husband to Ohio in 1959 where they lived for over 48 years. She and her husband then moved back to San Benito in 2006 where they resided ever since.

Natividad is survived by her husband, Manuel; her son, Gabriel Sierra; her brother, Frank (Esperanza); her grandchildren, Sarina Oren, Michael (Jillian), Mark, Mathew, Noah, Allyssa, Alizabeth, Alex Sierra; and her great grandchildren, Kyran Sierra, Teighan and Leytan Schleter, Liam, Hunter, and Charlie Sierra.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Silvestre and Genoveva Romero; her son, Gustavo; her brothers, Pedro, Geromino, Miguel and her sisters, Angelita and Emilia Romero Rodriguez.

The Sierra family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Following the Mass, Natividad will be laid to rest at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
