Natalie Jean Thompson, 73, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2006 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito.  Natalie was born November 13, 1933 in Estherville, Iowa to Adolph Joseph and Leona Josephine Origer.   She was owner/operator of Valley Steel & Pipe Company and retired in 1994.
Natalie is survived by sons, Christopher A. Thompson and his wife Kimberly and Matthew R. Thompson and his wife Traci, granddaughters, Kaileigh M. Thompson and Maci N. Thompson.  She is also survived by step-sons, Lawrence R. Thompson Jr. and wife, Margie; step-daughter, Mina M. Thompson; step-grandchildren, Shawn K. Thompson, Lawrence R. Thompson III, and Jeremy S. Thompson; and 3 brothers
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence R. Thompson, Sr., her parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Funeral Mass will be held today, December 28, 2006, 2 p.m., at Queen of Peace Catholic Church.  Interment will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2006.
Memorial donations may be made to the Sunshine Haven, Sandi Jo Funk Hospice, or Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
