Faithful servant of the Lord, Nancy M. Cooper was born on August 13, 1947, in Logansport, Indiana. She died on Sunday, February 5th, 2023 in Harlingen, Texas. As a member at First Baptist Church of Harlingen, she sang in the choir, helped serve meals, and taught Sunday School. Later, she continued to love her community at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church where she served as a member of the Altar Guild, Episcopal Church Women, and was President of the St. Alban’s Harlingen Chapter of Daughters of the King. Nancy also greatly enjoyed her continuing education and was in her fourth year in the Education for Ministry program offered by Sewanee/The University of the South. The underlying theme in Nancy’s life was Faith, Family and Service. She loved traveling, cooking, and hosting her family and friends in her home. She smiled, she laughed and most importantly she loved.
