Myrtle Means, 105, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at her residence in Harlingen surrounded by her loving family.
Myrtle just recently celebrated her 105 birthday on October 20, 2012. She was born in Albany, TX to John and Lena O’Neill and had been a longtime resident of Harlingen.
Myrtle is survived by her children, Billie Marie Randolph, Don (Joann) Means, Dicky (Virginia) Means, and Buddy Means; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Lee Means; and son-in-law, Wayne Carden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Means, son, Johnny C. Means, daughter Mary Ann Carden, and granddaughter, Donelle Means Anderson.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
