Muril May Haynes

Muril May Haynes 97, passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2023. She was born to John Henry Brown and Callie Ridings Brown on December 4, 1925 in Troy, Texas. Muril work for the Harlingen School District and retired after 40 years of dedicated service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Callie Brown; her beloved husband, August “Buddy” Haynes; her son, Charles Clark; and her 12 siblings.

Left to treasure Muril’s memory are her 3 grandchildren, Kristina Jardon, Dawn Preston (Michael), Rebecca Bryant (Michael); 9 great grandchildren, Mason & Cheyenne Maner, Michael (Lorena), Dwight (Kari), Emily, Tristan, and Ashton Preston, Cailyn & Colton Bryant; and 5 great-great grandchildren, Emily, Chloe, Killian, Jayden, and Natas.

A graveside service will take place Monday, August 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Harlingen-Combes Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cheyenne Maner, Michael Preston Jr., Dwight Preston, Emily Preston, Tristan Preston, Ashton Preston, Cailyn Bryant, Colton Bryant.
