Michael "Mike" Howard Schneider

Michael (Mike) Howard Schneider, age 76, of La Feria, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022. He was born on November 30, 1946 in Raymondville, Texas to Arthur (Jake) and Faye Schneider.

Mike was a member of the United States Marine Corp. and served during the Vietnam War. He retired from Coastal after many years and later owned and operated Schneider Gas Company in Mercedes, Texas.

Mike leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Koreen Schneider; daughter, Michele Schneider Miller; brother, Richard Schneider; his aunt and uncle, Marie & Vernon Swanberg; and stepchildren, Raymond Harris, Jessica Mitchell, and Tiffany Bolding and their children.

He was preceded in death by his parents and former wife, Martha (Mickey) Schneider.

An inurnment ceremony will take place Friday, March 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas. Mike will be laid to rest with full military honors rendered by the Rio Grande Valley Memorial VFW Post 8788 Honor Guard.
