Mary Anne (Hill) Grayson

September 2, 1928 — March 20, 2022

Mary Anne Grayson, 93, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her residence in Harlingen after a short illness.  Mary Anne was born September 2, 1928 in Angleton, Texas to the late Alvin and Stella Hill.

Mary Anne was a longtime resident of Harlingen, Texas.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She and her husband were instrumental in helping the Arroyo Baptist Chapel from its beginning.  She enjoyed fishing at the Laguna Madre and hunting in the great outdoors with her husband.

She is survived by her son, Gary Grayson of Angleton, TX; grandsons, Chris L. Grayson and Jeff E. Grayson; great grandchildren, Khloe Lunford, Bradley Lunford, Emma Lunford, Devon Rhue, Brice Rhue, and Brooklyn Bettrend; niece, Caroline Willimams and nephew, Bob Davidson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Earl Grayson, who passed in 2015 and her daughter-in-law, Grace Grayson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.

Graveside services will follow Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Harlingen-Combes Cemetery with Rev. Chris Hall officiating.
