Mary Alice (Salazar) Gonzales

Mary Alice Gonzales, 84, quietly entered into eternal glory on January 3, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born December 14, 1937 to the late Alejandro Salazar, Sr. and Angelita Garcia Salazar in San Benito, Texas.

She was employed with Levis Factory for several years until she married Mr. Feliciano Gonzales. Mary Alice was a dedicated stay-at-home mom and a big Dallas Cowboy fan.  She enjoyed gardening and nature.  Mary Alice was kind, loving and considerate to everyone. She never forgot anyone’s birthday.

Left to cherished her memory are her husband, Feliciano Gonzales Sr.; children, Jaime Luis (Maria) Gonzales, Feliciano Gonzales Jr., Victor Manuel Gonzales and Sammy (Dannielle) Gonzales; grandchildren, Isabella Marie Gonzales, Savannah Rose Gonzales, Kailee Amber Gonzales, Meredith Paige Gonzales, Ruby Louise Gonzales, Abigail Fay Gonzales, and Benito Garcia Gonzales.

The Gonzales family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 06, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. (Click the link below to view a live-stream of the Rosary.) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. (Click the link below to view the Mass via Facebook Live.) Following the Mass, Mary Alice will be laid to rest at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mario Alfredo Rodriguez, Rolando Rodriguez, Mario Luis Salazar, Michael Flores, Orlando Ochoa and Mike Rodriguez.
