Martin Leija, 47, of San Benito, Texas entered into Eternal Life on Friday, January 27, 2017. He was born on October 16, 1969 in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Leija enjoyed owning his own Landscaping Business.
Martin is preceded in death by his parents Margarito and Maria Leija, a brother, father in law Hector Cortez Sr. and brother in law Hector Cortez Jr.
Martin is survived by his wife, Anna Patricia Leija. He is also survived by his brothers, Margarito (Teresa) Leija of Georgia, Roy Leija of San Benito, Jimmy (Angie) Leija, Jaime (Terry) Leija, and Peter Leija all of Florida. He is also survived by his sisters, Mona (Juan) Medrano of Georgia and Tomasa (Jesus) Garcia of San Benito.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at St Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
