Mark Edward Cooley

Mark Cooley is absent from his body, but present with his Lord. He died at Valley Baptist Medical Center ICU in tender loving care after a long illness on Saturday, April 7, 2007.
Mark was born in Virginia, MN on June 16th, 1957. He was always an outstanding student, with his greatest achievement of being one of only a few to be chosen to the National Dean’s list. As a young man he was an avid water skier, and placed several times in competition in Minnesota. While in the Denver area he switched to snow skies. During his working life, he was with several major computer companies including being manager of Altex Inc. in Corpus Christi, Texas. His last employment was with CMES a computer and data preservation company.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Bylund Cooley. Mark is survived by his father, Edward (Ned) Cooley; his step-mother Joan Cooley and his sisters, Pamela (John) Neunsinger, Lori (Mark) Saldana and Terry Millon.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2007 from 10 a.m. till service time at the First Baptist Church in Harlingen.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church.
