Marjorie Breedlove Hoover of Los Fresnos, Texas died unexpectedly on September 28, 2007. She was born in Harlingen Texas May 25, 1939. Marjorie’s early education was in Los Fresnos. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Wyoming with a major in History and a minor in Music. Marjorie was Phi Kappa Phi. She was an accomplished pianist and flutist and spent many years teaching hundreds of children and adults in both instruments.  She left a lyrical legacy.
Marjorie lived in many parts of the world during her adult life and made many lifelong friends. She had many talents other than music including painting and had exquisite taste in decorating, gardening, and other endeavors.  She created beautiful surroundings where-ever she lived.
A hero is a person who does what they can.  Marjorie was a hero to her family and friends and did whatever she could for them and was happy doing it.  She was a generous and beautiful person who gave of her time and loved giving gifts to others.  She never met a stranger. She is greatly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
Marjorie is survived by her mother Mrs. Ura J. Breedlove of Los Fresnos; by her daughter Rhonda Chalfant and her children Callie, Dylan, and Amy of Eureka California; by her son Robert Tate Biersack and his wife Teresa of Converse Texas; her brother Cleve Breedlove and his wife Rosemary Breedlove of Los Fresnos Texas; and by her nieces and nephews Shelby Myatt, Chris George, Jess Breedlove and Heidi Hancock.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2007 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Los Fresnos with a graveside service to be held at 4 p.m. at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to UTB/TSC Fine Arts Department, 80 Fort Brown, Brownsville, TX 78520.
