Marjorie Edna Dahlman joined her husband, Elmer, and many beloved family members and friends in heaven on January 26, 2012.
Marge was born to Beatrice and James Cable on January 23, 1930. She accepted Christ as Savior on December 22, 1949 and began a life of service for the Lord. Always the witness of God's amazing grace, Marge taught Sunday School, sang in the church choir, and played the organ. She and Elmer were World Baptist Fellowship missionaries from 1966 - 1977 in the villages of Jutiapa, Los Jutes, and Piliguin, Honduras. Honduran believers from the missions they began continue their ministry today.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marge was predeceased by an infant daughter, Carol Lynn.
She is survived by 7 children - Annette (James) Singletary, Suzanne Anderson, Catherine (Esteban) Pavon, John (Sally) Dahlman, Diane (Michael) Teubner, Linda Dahlke, Brandon (Iltze) Dahlman; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and sisters Jaleane Heathfield, Pat Johnson, and Sally Hipchen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012, 2 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Rio Hondo with Rev. Gene Horton, Rev. Wade Hood and Rev. James Foster officiating.  Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Young, Brian Young, Steven Pavon, Michael Pavon, Celeo Osorio, John Dahlman, Timothy Dahlman, Daniel T. Robles and Ethan Guevara.
