Marisela Chapa, 25, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at her residence.
Marisela was born June 1, 1987 in Harlingen, Texas to Elvis Chapa, Sr. and Esperanza Martinez Chapa. She graduated from San Benito High School with the class of 2005. Marisela enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her William, and jewelry making and crafts.
She is survived by her son, William Garza; parents Elvis Sr. and Esperanza Chapa; brothers, Alonzo Eliodoro Chapa, Elvis (Beatriz) Chapa, Jr.; sister, Patricia “E.J.” Chapa; three nieces; one nephew; paternal grandfather Alonzo Chapa; maternal grandmother, Ernestina Martinez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
Marisela was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Odelia M. Chapa; maternal grandfather, Eliodoro Martinez; and uncle, Juan Eliodoro Martinez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Isaac Erondu as celebrant. Services will conclude at the church.
