Marian Virginia Kirchner Beaty, 92, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013.  She was born on February 4, 1921 in St. Louis, Missouri to her loving parents, Anthony Victor and Edna Belle Smithers Kirchner.  On October 19, 1941 she married the love of her life, her husband of 72 years, William Robert Beaty who survives her.
She was a loving wife and mother and a good friend to many.  She and her husband lived in St. Louis, MO, Jefferson City, MO and Charleston, MO, before moving to south Texas.  Together they enjoyed boating, motorhoming, dancing, singing and spending time with friends and family.  They retired to Fun & Sun RV Resort in San Benito where they enjoyed 21 years of active retirement.  In 2011, they moved to Golden Palms Retirement Center in Harlingen where they have enjoyed new friends and relationships.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy (Sherry) Beaty of Columbia, MD, her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy (F.R. “Buz”) Sutherland of Charleston, MO, two granddaughters, Pamela (Mark) Rounsley of Greer, SC and Carolyn (John) Ryan of Annapolis, MD and six great grandchildren, Steven, Allen, and Chandler Rounsley, Addison and Abby Fleming and Ally Ryan.
A lifelong member of the Episcopal faith, she was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church of San Benito where a memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM.  A reception will follow the service in the Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations may be made to the All Saints Episcopal Church, 499 N. Reagan St., San Benito, TX 78586 or charity of choice.
