San Benito, TX: Maria E. Ybarra, 76, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at her residence in San Benito.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Seferino Ybarra Sr.; her daughter, Norma Y. Robles; her parents, Estanilado and Lucia Adame; her brothers, Ruben, Raul, and Rosalio Adame; her sister, Raquel A. Flores; her in-laws, Pedro and Herlinda Ybarra (San Benito); and her great grandson, Matthew Owen Amaya.
Maria is survived by her daughter, Nelda Ybarra of San Benito; her sons, Seferino Ybarra of San Benito, Elias (Bertha) Ybarra of Harlingen, and Alfredo (Mary Ann)Ybarra of San Benito; her sisters, Elena (Alfredo)Garza of San Benito and Guadalupe(Domingo) Lopez of Pharr; her brothers, Isaias (+Elvira) Adame and Pedro (Josefa) Adame both of Dallas; an aunt, Conrada Hernandez of Brownsville; and her sister-in-law, Felicitas (Alejandro) Huerta of San Benito (who was like a sister to her); along with 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Christopher Mendiola, Eric Clifford Ybarra, Jason Anthony Ybarra, Jesus Alejandro Huerta, Ronnie Stephen Ybarra and Elias Ybarra Jr.; honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Stephen, Jennifer Elaine Ybarra, Lori Ann Ybarra, Marc Anthony Lopez and Marissa Ann Everett.
