Harlingen, TX: Maria Luisa Perez, 46, of Harlingen, TX passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Juan & Magdalena Sandoval; and her maternal grandparents, Jose Angel and Concepcion Berrones.
Maria Luisa is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Jose Gilberto Perez, Sr.; her sons, Jose Gilberto Perez, Jr. and Juan Daniel Perez; her parents, Juan Jose and San Juana Sandoval; her siblings, Matias Sandoval, Amador Sandoval, Olga Lydia Sandoval, Marco Antonio Sandoval, Juan Pablo Sandoval, Belinda Sandoval, and Jessica S. Benitez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
A Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home with Father Mario Castro as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matias Sandoval, Amador Sandoval, Marco Antonio Sandoval, Juan Pablo Sandoval, Jose Gilberto Perez, Jr., and Enrique Benitez; and serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Adrian Perez.
