SAN BENITO, TX. – Maria Esther Mendoza, born on October 21, 1947 in Mexico, died on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. She was 67 years old.
Survivors include her loving husband, Ricardo Mendoza; children Rosa Idalia Pedraza, Ricardo Mendoza, Jr., Griselda Gonzalez, and Juan Carlos Mendoza; sister, Nilda Sanchez Castro; niece, Alma Guerrero; as well as numerous grandchildren and other relatives.
Visiting hours are on Saturday, September 19, 2015 and on Sunday, September 20, 2015, beginning at three o’clock in the afternoon and concluding at nine o’clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o’clock Saturday and Sunday evening within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 21, 2015 at ten o’clock in the morning, in St. Benedict's Catholic Church, 351 S. Bowie Street, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Committal services will then follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
