Los Fresnos, TX –Maria L. Garcia, was called to be with our lord and savior on Sunday, the 25th of December 2016. Born on the 27th of May 1950 in Los Fresnos, Texas to her parents Cruz Gonzalez and Margarita Reyes -Gonzalez.
Maria retired after 35 year of working for the Los Fresnos school district.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents and a brother Guadalupe Reyes and sister- in- law Blanca Reyes.
Survivors include her loving husband Jose Ramon Garcia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, the27th of December 2016, beginning at 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West US Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday , the 28th of December 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at St Cecilia Catholic Church. Officiating her Funeral Mass will be Father Juan Escamilla.
