Rio Hondo, TX: Maria Santos Flores, 83, of Rio Hondo, TX passed away on July 7, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Francisco Flores; her parents, Agustin and Espiridiona Cano Jaramillo; her brother, Jose Jaramillo, and her sisters, Sista Jaramillo and Agustina Guajardo.
Santos is survived by 5 sons and 3 daughters, Jesus Flores, Jose Flores, Geronimo Flores, Ninfa Ramos, Norma Ramos, Jerry Flores Juan Flores, Jr., and Enedina Rios; 25 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 great –great grandchildren; and her brothers, Mike Jaramillo, Amado Jaramillo, and Fidencio Jaramillo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral procession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Helen Catholic Church in Rio Hondo. Interment will follow to Las Yescas Cemetery.
