Maria D. Escobedo

Maria Del Carmen Escobedo, 68, peacefully passed from this life on August 13, 2019.  She was born in San Luis Potosi, SLP, Mexico on September 3, 1950 to Dolores Estrada.

Maria found great joy in the love of her family and satisfaction in life as a homemaker.

Left to treasure Maria’s memory is her husband, Pedro Sergio Escobedo; children, Graciela Escobedo, Alejandra (Sam) Escobedo, Angelita (Michael) Escobedo, Sergio (Esther) Escobedo, Jr., Lolly (David) Galvan, Edith Escobedo; grandchildren, Christopher R. Alonso, Elizabeth N. Alonso, Julissa Garcia, Natasha Popovich, Austin Popovich, Nicholas Popovich, Aiden Moreno, Meinhard Gutierrez, Ava Escobedo, Joshua Escobedo, Ally Escobedo, Danice Galvan, Andres Garcia, Jazmin Garcia, Emma Garcia; great-grandaughter, Madeline Garcia.

The Escobedo family will receive friends and family on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at San Benito Funeral Home.  A Prayer Service will begin at 7 o’clock on Friday evening.  Graveside Service and Interment will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 9:00 AM at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Christopher R. Alonso, Samuel Popovich, Sergio Escobedo, Jr., Michael Gutierrez, David Galvan, and Joel Garcia.
