San Benito, TX: Maria E. Garcia, 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at her residence in San Benito.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Garcia; and her son, Luis Ricardo Garcia.
Maria is survived by her 2 sons, Homer (Maribel) Garcia of San Benito and Joe (Brenda) Garcia of Harlingen; her 2 daughters, Leticia (Oscar) Salinas of Harlingen and Maricela (Richard) Longoria of Brownsville; her 4 grandchildren, Mark Garcia, Ricky Garcia, Samantha Garcia and Liam Longoria; and 3 great grandchildren, Isabella Garcia, Sophia Garcia and Nathaniel Garcia; along with 2 brothers, Lorenzo De La Fuente and Antonio De La Fuente; and 3 sisters, Frances Gonzales, Guadalupe De La Fuente and Eva Reyna.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
Pallbearers will be Homer Garcia, Joe Garcia, Mark Garcia, Ricky Garcia, Lorenzo De La Fuente and Antonio De La Fuente.
