Maria “Coco” Socorro Carranza, 82, entered into eternal life on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen.
She is survived by her husband Jesus L. Carranza; her children Lourdes (Ismael) Acevedo, Cristina (Rene) Viramontes, Hugo Carranza; her grandchildren Isamel Acevedo Jr, Marlene Acevedo, Jaime San Roman, Hugo Carranza Jr, Francisco San Roman, Albert Lopez; her great grandchildren Jade San Roman and Lisa San Roman.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at San Benito Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
