Maria Guadalupe Bueno

Maria “Lupe” Guadalupe Bueno, 89, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2024, in San Benito, Texas. Born on April 10, 1935, in San Benito, she was the daughter of Casimiro Carrion and Maria Flores Carrion. Lupe cherished her role as a homemaker and found great joy in spending time with her family. 

She was preceded in by her parents, Casimiro and Maria Carrion, her sisters and brothers; Ventura Carrion, Dominga Rodriguez, Teofila Cortez, Margarita Hernandez, Roman Carrion and Ezequiel Carrion as well as her loving husband Julian Bueno. 

Maria “Lupe” is survived by her daughters, Olga Bueno and Minerva Chairez (Arturo Chairez); her granddaughters, Lori Villarreal (Luis Villarreal) and Christina Welch; and her great-grandchildren, Joey Villarreal, Luke Villarreal, Kaisen Welch, and Mila Welch. 

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers for their compassionate and loving care. 

The Bueno family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 o’clock Wednesday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. 

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Luis Villarreal, Joey Villarreal, Joel Hernandez, Alberto Lozano, Zander Rojas, Gabriel Rojas, Luke Villarreal, and Kaisen Welch.
