Maria S. Bowery died June 18, 2007 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito, TX. Born April 11, 1932 in Coloradas, Mexico to Baldomero and Ramona Juarez.
She was preceded in death by her sister Victoria Juarez. She is survived by her children Reyna (Arthur) Willingham, Travis (Dina) Bowery and Bobbie Jo (Thomas) Hushen; grandchildren, Travis and Jacob Willingham, Charles Scott, Travis Jr., and Shelby Bowery, Kelsie, Thomas C. and Madison Hushen; step grandchildren, Larissa, Anna Marie, Santiago Jr. Garcia; and two great grandchildren, Layla Willingham and Travis Bowery III.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to caregivers Delma Mora, Diana Olvera, Roseda Loera, Shana Hernandez, Maria Mejia, Lois de Castillo and Joey de la Garza for their dedication and support with our mother.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 21, 2007 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2007, 2 p.m., at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Rodriguez of Primera Iglesia Bautista in Harlingen officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Sunshine Haven, P.O. Box 4478, Olmito, TX 78523.
