Margaret Nell Mosmeyer

HARLINGEN, TX:
Margaret Nell Roe Mosmeyer, 82, peacefully left this world and her beloved family October 27, 2007, after a short battle with cancer.  Margaret was born to James and Delcena Roe on November 25, 1924, in Kingsville, Texas.  It was there that she met and married Harvey Mosmeyer. In 1960, the couple settled in Harlingen, where they raised their two children, Tara and Dane.
A talented homemaker, loving mother and grandmother and friend to many, Margaret’s compassion and sense of humor will be greatly missed.  Margaret was an avid gardener, reader, coin collector, and family historian.  She has left her family with many happy memories of good times.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Oscar Roe of Kingsville, Gene Roe of Kingsville, Clifton Roe of Kingston, Oklahoma; and sisters Odie Mae Bryan of Harlingen and Irene Rich of Lubbock.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey; daughter, Tara Pratt of Harlingen; son, Dane (Courtney) Mosmeyer of College Station; granddaughters Brittany and Shelby Pratt of Harlingen; her beloved dog, Rory; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home in Harlingen, Texas.
Graveside services will be held November 1, 2007, 11 a.m., at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville, Texas.  Margaret’s nephew, Whit (Barbie Roe) Harrington of Sugarland will be officiating.
