Margaret Kretz

Harlingen, Texas:
Margaret Kretz, 71, passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center on Sunday, April 27, 2008.  She was born in Los Fresnos, Texas on April 16, 1937 to Wesley and Sybil Moses.   Margaret was a lifelong resident of the Rio Grande Valley living in Los Fresnos and Harlingen.    She was a member of the 8th & Harrison Church of Christ in Harlingen.
Margaret is survived by her High School sweetheart and husband of 46 years, Don Kretz; son Blake Kretz and wife Lori of Cleburne, Texas; daughter Julie Stumbo and husband Scott of Naples, Florida; four grandchildren Nicole and Michael Kretz; Katie and Sean Stumbo.  She is also survived by two brothers William Lee Moses and wife Pat; Thomas Ray Moses and wife Linda; and three sisters Betty Jones and husband Fred; Ruby Milum and Norma Mann; and many other family members.
Margaret was a graduate of Los Fresnos High School and Abilene Christian College.  She was employed by the Harlingen CISD for 25 years as a Junior High School Teacher and coach.  She coached many young ladies in Basketball and Volleyball.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. with the family being present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home in Harlingen, Texas.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the 8th & Harrison Church of Christ.  Donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to the 8th & Harrison Church of Christ Youth Program.
