San Benito, TX – Macedonio P. Leon, 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Solara Hospital in Brownsville.
He loved fishing and watching boxing; he was employed with South Machine Shop.
Macedonio is survived by his wife, Concepcion H. Leon; his sons, Juan Leon, Gerardo Leon, Javier Leon, David Leon, Julio Cesar Leon and Rolando Leon; along with his grandchildren, John Andrew, Michael, Laura, Shantel, Shirley, Juaquin, Gerardo, Jr., Natalie, Liliana, David, Jr., Abby, Leonardo, AnnaLee, Adreana, Monica, Leonisha, Leonora, Nathaniel and Melanie; his brothers, Gerardo Leon and Guadalupe Leon; and his sisters, Irene Aguirre, Maria Antonia Meza, and Maria del Rosario Rodarte.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. for a 2:00 P.M. Funeral Mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in El Ranchito. Funeral services will conclude after mass.
