Lucille Mildred Horton Hentz joined the Lord on December 16, 2012. Lucille was born on November 29, 1919 to Stedman and Frances Miller in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Lucille was married to Harvey Horton from 1937 until his death in 1974. Lucille was later married to Arthur Hentz from 1981 until his death in 1986.
Lucille and Harvey had five children, Dwane Horton (deceased), Sally (Charles) Manning, Butch Horton (Gerry), Cindy (Mark) Curry, and Debbie Wagner. Lucille is also survived by her seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren, and dear friend Linda Archer.
She was predeceased by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Lucille was a member of the First Baptist Church in Combes since 1945 where she taught Sunbeams for many years. Lucille loved gardening and could always be found in her yard.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 8 am to 11 am with the family receiving friends from 10 am to 11 am at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be on Saturday, December 22, 2012, 12 p.m., at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
