Luciano Buenrostro

Luciano Buenrostro, 79, of San Benito, Texas entered into eternal life on Friday, May 24, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Buenrostro was born on April 26, 1934 in Rio Grande City, TX to Luciano and Teodora Buenrostro. He was the youngest of 23 children. Luciano enjoyed fishing, music, dancing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter San Juanita Ramona Buenrostro. He is survived by his wife, Maria Buenrostro; his children, Ricardo Buenrostro, Sr., Ted(Rosie) Buenrostro, Lucio(Imelda) Buenrostro, Maria(Javier) Saenz, Mauricio(Diana) Buenrostro, Luciano Buenrostro, Jr., Minnie(Jack) Buenrostro and Peter(Suzanne) Buenrostro. Also surviving him are his 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and his sister Beatrice B. Torres.
Visitation will be held on Monday May 27, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., at the San Benito Funeral Home with the holy rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m. The funeral procession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Isaac Erondu as the celebrant. Interment will follow at the San Benito City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ricardo Buenrostro, Ted Buenrostro, Lucio Buenrostro, Mauricio Buenrostro, Luciano Buenrostro, Jr. and Peter Buenrostro.
