Louella “June” Boomgaard, age 67, passed away September 7th at Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, Texas from complications of heart and lung disease.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Romana and her sister Janice.
June is survived by her husband of 39 years David Boomgaard; her daughters, Robin Able and Janis Sny; her sister, Eleanor Rithmond of Carson City, Nevada; brother, Leland Townsend of Grants Pass, Oregon plus many grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.
A Celebration of her life will be held in San Benito, TX at the Fun N Sun RV Park in Room 1 on September 16, 2008 at 1 P.M. and in Grand Rapids, MI at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be sent to San Benito Elks “give them a lift” Project, 251 N. Reagan St., San Benito, TX in memory of June Boomgaard.
