Lisa Marie Palomino

Lisa Marie “Lizzy” Palomino, 28, passed away on June 15, 2024 in Harlingen, Texas. She was born August 8, 1995 in Harlingen, Texas to Jaime and Noemi Palomino.

Lizzy was a graduate of San Benito High School, Class of 2013, and dedicated her professional life as a Patient Care Technician at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville. In her leisure time, she found joy in going to the gym, sharing meals at Chipotle with her daughter, and indulging in reading.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Eliseo Palomino Sr., Filomena R. Palomino, and Leonardo Yzaguirre Sr. 

Left to treasure Lizzy’s memory is her daughter, Penelope Naomi Melendez; her parents, Jaime and Noemi Palomino; her grandmother, Ninfa M. Yzaguirre; her siblings, Jessica M. Martinez (Julio), Veronica Palomino (Dave), Monica Palomino (Bobby), Erica S. Sanchez (Ruben) and Jaime Palomino Jr. (Eva); her 20 nieces and nephews; 1 great nephew; and 1 great niece.

The Palomino family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Services for Lizzy will conclude Tuesday evening.
