Lile Ramirez

San Benito, TX: Lile Ramirez passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center on July 8, 2011 at the age of 69. She was born in Lozano, Texas to Valentin and Juanita Rangel on June 2, 1942.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Valentin and Juanita Rangel; and a sister, Elisa Cavazos.

Lile is survived by her son, Valdemar Ramirez, Jr.; her daughters, Dianna Ramirez and Linda Kay Ramirez; her brothers, Valentin Rangel, Jr. and Ruben Rangel; her sisters, Maria Elena Zamora, Velma Mercado, and Delia Rodriguez; along with her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, Derek Cortez, Stefanie Marquez, Sadie Hinojosa, Sabrina Hinojosa, John Ramirez, Marissa Ramirez and Kaylin Mendoza; great grandchildren, Joshua Marquez and Jake Marquez; and her dog, Chacha; she had numerous nephews and nieces whom she loved and cared for as if they were her own.

Lile will be greatly missed by her entire family and the many friends she played bingo and socialized with; she was most known for her great cooking and her renown delicious tamales; she loved to cook and deliver tamales to all her family; she always lent a helping hand, she was a true samanitarian.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Christian Service to begin at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Miguel Marquez, Eric Silva, Alfredo Garcia, Juan Ramirez, Nicelas Urias and Johnny Cavazos.
