Leslie Carl Fisher, 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2018.
Leslie was born on November 20, 1936 to James and Ruth (Johnson) Fisher in Elgin, Texas. Leslie married the former Bethel Luttes on September 3, 1960. He enjoyed working many years on the Buena Vista Ranch near Bayview, raising cattle, horses, farming, and ranching. Leslie had a passion for horseback riding and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. A lifetime of his cherished memories will be shared with future generations around campfires for many years to come. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted gentleman, who served his country in the Texas Army National Guard, loved his family, and gave from his heart.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents Ruth and James, brother Jimmie, daughter Rosalind, and his wife Bethel.
He is survived by his wife Alicia (Valladares); children Justin (Juannie), Jason (Kristene), Russell, and Rebecca; grandchildren Jerred, Jasmine, Jaden, Leslie, Alexandria, Lauren, Ava, Michael, Jacob, Axel, and Rayden; Sister-in-law Janice Fisher (Burke) and nieces Becky Ward (Russell) and Brenda McNeil (Wade).
Friends and family will gather to remember Leslie on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
A graveside ceremony will take place in the Mont Meta Memorial Park Mausoleum in San Benito, TX, 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
