Leo J. Wall

HARLINGEN:
Leo J. Wall, 92, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. He was born August 26, 1915 in Blackwell, MO to Arthur and Florence Wall.  He was high school graduate and then received Stationary Engineer License.  Leo proudly served his country for three years during World War II.  He was employed by Meramec Junior College as a stationary engineer and retired in 1977.  Leo was married Myrna Brooks for 69 years and lived in the St. Louis Area until 1978 when they moved to Harlingen.   He was a Silver Haired Senator, a deacon of the Church of Christ for 25 years and an avid pool player.  Leo was a people person and an excellent conversationalist. He enjoyed pool, card playing, traveling, bowling, fishing, and hunting.
Leo is survived by his wife of 69 years, Myrna Wall; daughter, Vicki Wall; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and close friends,  Wanda and David Bridges, Jim and Frances Wiginton, Al and Evelyn Hudson, Leo and Geri Mongomery and Jim Simmons.
Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2007, 2 p.m., at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.  Burial will be held in Cedar Hill, MO.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Bridges, Al Hudson, Jim Wiginton, Jim Simmons, Barry Rahar and Gene Rice.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wall Memorial.
