Lela Mae Biddison

May 28, 1922 — December 26, 2009

Lela Mae Biddison, 87, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Saturday morning at the age of 87 years old.  She was a resident of the Terrace at Clear Lake, Webster, TX.  She was a long-time resident of Edinburg and Harlingen which are both in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Joel Tisdale, her second husband, Leon Richey and her third husband, Thurman Biddison, as well as two brothers, Dallas French and Henry French; two sisters; Pauline Longshore and Ommie Smith; and one nephew, James French.
Surviving Lela Mae are: Stepson Bill Richey of Palm City, Florida, wife Linda, and two Granddaughters: Leeana – 18yrs old and Lynet – 14 yrs old; one brother: Dennis French of Wimberly, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Lela Mae Biddison loved the Lord her God with all her heart, mind, soul and strength.  She lived her life to honor Him.  She retired from the State Chest Hospital in Harlingen, TX.  She also had a private beauty shop business in her home for many years.  Her last job was a fun job where she worked at a daycare center with small children for several years.  When she married Thurman Biddison, she moved to Wimberly, TX.
Visitation will be held, December 29, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Ashcraft Buck Funeral Home with funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Mont Meta Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in San Benito with Rev. Gene Horton officiating.
