Konnie Marie Groves was born on the 9th of February 1959 in McAllen, TX and passed away on November 24, 2015 in Harlingen, TX. She was the third child of Merlyn Paul Koch and Elizabeth Anne Koch.
Konnie dedicated her life to Jesus Christ, her husband and her six children.
Konnie is survived by her husband of 35 years Mark; her six children David (Pamela), Joshua, Jennifer, Katherine, Sarah (Phillip) Izzi, and Jessie; her grandchildren Cassandra and Patrick Izzi; Aiden, Gabriel, and Zachariah Groves; her parents Merlyn and Elizabeth Koch; her sisters, Roseanne (Mike) Meyer and Elizabeth (Chad) Patterson.
Konnie was preceded in death by her sister Paula Beth Koch; and nephew William Joseph King.
Visitation hours will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm and a rosary service being held at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10:00 am with Rev. Lawrence Klein as celebrant.
The family requests that those desiring to do so may make memorial donations to St Anthony’s Catholic School, 1015 E Harrison Ave. Harlingen, Texas 78550.
