Kimberly Sandy Sandoval, 22, of San Benito, died October 1, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born July 17, 1995 in Harlingen, the daughter of Salvador and Susan Rodriguez Sandoval. She attended San Benito schools and graduated from San Benito High School in 2013.
Kimberly treasured the time she spent with her family and friends and was a warm and loving person who will be dearly missed.
Kimberly is survived by her parents Salvador and Susan Rodriguez Sandoval; her brothers Salvador Sandoval, Jr. (Yessenia), L.J. Sandoval; her sisters Julissa L. Sandoval and Jessica M. Sandoval (Rudy Castillo) and nephew Salvador Isacc Sandoval. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Nicolas Sandoval, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home, 1400 W. Hwy 77 in San Benito. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Combes Street in San Benito. Interment will follow at San Benito Memorial Park Cemetery on N. Sam Houston Blvd.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Salvador Sandoval, Jr. Rodolfo Castillo, Jr., Roberto Gonzalez, Raymond Rodriguez, Arturo Rodriguez, Jr., Julio Maldonado, Jr., Jesse James Rodriguez, and Jesse Leal. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Salvador Sandoval, Jr. and Julian Sandoval.
