Katherine Faith Pearcy was our angel on earth for almost 26 years, full of pure innocence and joy. She blessed the lives of all who had the pleasure of getting to know her smile, laughter, and loud exuberance for life. Her time on this earth is over now and our angel has moved to her home in Heaven. While here though, she spent almost 20 years of her life being served by the Harlingen CISD Special Education Department as she grew and progressed through her time in the Harlingen public education system until graduating from Harlingen High School in 2016.
Since graduating from high school Katherine enjoyed being taken on long walks outdoors, listening to music, tinkering on the piano, playing with her toys, and spending time with loved ones. Most of all, she loved feeling sunshine on her face and shoulders, letting the warmth and love of God’s creation completely relax and replenish her.
Katherine is survived by her parents James Richard Pearcy and Minnie (Longoria) Pearcy, sisters Elizabeth Hope Pearcy and Christine Love Pearcy, Aunt Amelia (Steve) Rathsack, Aunt Janet Smithey, Uncle John (Carla) Pearcy, grandfather Richard Pearcy, grandmother Susie Jervis, cousins Mark and Lauren Rathsack, Kelsey and Britanny Westbrook, Sophia and Julia Pearcy.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.
