Katherine Jane DeLellis, 81, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at her residence in Harlingen.
Katherine was born in Santa Ana, CA to Marcus A. Twaddell and Hazel Twaddell Hadley. She graduated from Arizona State University in 1950 with a Bachelors of Science Degree. She was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church, PEO, and the Contemporary Study Club.
Katherine is survived by her husband, Louis Joseph DeLellis; sister, Pat Cockrill and husband, Gene Cockrill; children, Louis Joseph DeLellis II, John Martin DeLellis and wife, Tina Denise DeLellis, Richard M. DeLellis and wife, Melissa W. DeLellis; grandchildren, Cristina DeLellis Klostermann and husband, Matt, John Martin DeLellis, II and wife, Lauren, and Ian DeLellis; 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel and step-father, John W. Hadley.
Graveside services only will be held at Mont Meta Memorial Park, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 27, 2010 with Rev. Tim Brewer officiating.
The family wants to give a special thanks to Calvin Metcalf and to close friends too numerous to mention, she loved you all.
