Karen Sue Foglesong, 73, passed away on January 24, 2015 in San Benito, TX.
Karen was born September 21, 1941 in Muscatine, IA to Donald and Margaret (Hayes) Holmes. She graduated from Westmer High School with the class of 1960. Karen was employed by the Westmer School District and retired after 30 plus years of employment. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her husband, Philip Foglesong Jr.; sons, Scott Fitzsimmons of Davis Junction, IL, Steve Fitzsimmons of Rock Island, IL, Don Fitzsimmons of Aledo, IL, Darrell Fitzsimmons of Vicksburg, MI and Andrew Foglesong of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers Dan Holmes of Walcott, IA, Jim Holmes of Seaton, IL and David Holmes of Illinois City, IL; 21 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and an infant daughter, Katherine.
Memorial service will be held in Illinois during the spring.
